A PHYSIOCHEMICAL STUDY ON DRUG DELIVERY OF METFORMIN HCL-LOADED CS-PLGA NANOPARTICLES

Objective: The current research was based on developing CS-PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) drug delivery system (DDS) for improving the bio-availability of metformin HCl, an anti-diabetic drug. Methods: Nanoprecipitation method utilized to prepare HCl-loaded NPs DDS. were validated using analytical and characterization also done. These polymers release in a controlled manner. Results: correlation coefficient (R2) value HCl calibration curve 0.9971 phosphate buffer pH 6.8 at concentration range 0-12 μg/ml. Metformin 144 h, approximately 90%. DSC tests carried out 50 mg 75 MET incorporated FT-IR NPs, it clear from spectra that there no interactions between polymer. Conclusion: It proven act as prominent DDS by exhibiting extensive increase its bioavailability.
